Launching of UKRAID & Rebranding

The Ukrainian Refugee Centre has been operating since March 2022, just after the outbreak of the war, in response to the wave of refugees arriving to Valencia, Initially the centre was created as a contact point for support and advice but it quickly became clear that much more direct help was needed and so the centre evolved to provide food, sanitary items, clothing etc, all in an informal manner.

As we are now relied upon by some 160 Ukrainian families in Valencia on a weekly basis, the decision was taken to formalise our activities and create an NGO as well as rebrand ourselves to become UKRAID. We are very proud of everything that we have managed to do for Ukrainian refugees and hope to do much more in the future with your support.
